WHO IS CARMANETTA?
Now living on the creative soil of Alabama in the area known for the “Muscle Shoals Sound”, Carmanetta grew up in parts of California and Florida playing the violin and double bass. She learned to play the guitar at age 19 with her friend Debbie and has since discovered the effect her music and lyrics have on the people who hear them. All things work together for good to them that love the Lord is the scripture that serves as the theme of her music, and it has inspired her newest EP Gotta Believe. This collection was completed in early 2016, with the collaborative efforts of husband & wife team, Jack “Shoc” and Beckah Shae Shocklee of ShaeShoc Records.
Carmanetta received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, praying for her leaders, at a tent revival in Saltillo, Mexico, with Eternal Love Ministries. She continues to love the energy of her home church Christ Chapel’s multi-cultural worship and singing songs with young people. In addition to Carmanetta’s songwriting, she is missions-minded and is active with new church plant Iglesia del Pueblo (The People’s Church) in Muscle Shoals, Alabama. Along with her husband, Scott, she also has a heart for international missions and is passionate about spreading the gospel to people all over the world. Carmanetta’s music expresses her desire for people to persevere and walk into the glorious destiny the Lord has provided for us all.

Pop songs that are full of soul celebrate Abba Father, the one who gives a voice to the voiceless. He’s a father who loves and believes in His sons and daughters, a father who pours forth faith and hope into our souls. Yeshua is the roar of the Lion of Judah. Let the rhythms of the music, renew your heart.
